We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Critiques
There are a few things which concern me though- one being the stem of the flower. It feels "thin" and almost disconnected from the flower itself, and despite being out of focus it monopolizes a pretty big corner of the composition. The same goes for that leaf in the bottom right. Obviously your focus is the flower, but these big shapes are distracting from the main point. I was also distracted by the top right and left corners- why are they darker than their opposites?
Overall I think this is a pretty good work, although it could definitely be improved if you play around with the focus and composition/centering some. It definitely catched my eye.
